Cranial Osteopathy

Cranial Osteopathy is a refined and subtle type of Osteopathic treatment that uses very gentle manipulative pressure to encourage the release of stresses throughout the body, including the head.

It is very effective in treating a wide range of conditions in people of all ages, from birth to old age. The techniques are particularly gentle and are often used in treatment of children, babies and pregnant women.

All osteopaths use a variety of osteopathic techniques learned at under graduate level. At Ashtead Osteopathy, we have extensive experience and post graduate training  in this field. Most of our training is done through the Sutherland Cranial College or the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London. Several osteopaths have completed specialist courses through the Rollin Becker Institute.
