Canine Osteopathy

Dogs can suffer from similar musculoskeletal conditions to people such as joint and muscle issues, sprains and arthritis. Like people, they can benefit from hands on manual therapy techniques used in osteopathy to ease tension and restore balance within the tissues of the body. 

It is a legal requirement to obtain vet consent before giving any osteopathic treatment to your dog so please ensure you have this in place before your first visit. A simple email from your vet giving consent for the dog to receive osteopathic treatment is sufficient but please ask if they would highlight any relevant medical history as this can benefit treatment plans.

There are a number of things canine osteopathy can help with such as:

-Arthritis

-Joint/mobility issues

-Injuries from falls or trauma

-Muscle sprains

-Limping/lameness

Initial treatments are 45 minutes and follow up treatments are around 30 minutes.
